Since 2017 we have, each year, run a sales campaign to help Europa-Park drive UK and Ireland visitors across a carefully selected set of traditionally low-season dates.
UK and Ireland school holidays were cross-referenced for dates that coincided with mid-term for mainland European schools to enable Europa-Park to capitalise on a very unique sales opportunity whilst also incentivising visitors with a special 20% OFF discount.
The yearly 20% OFF sales campaigns have been a key element in promoting short-stay holidays to Europa-Park and Rulantica via social media ads on their English-language Facebook channels as well as digital media ads with highly relevant digital media partners.
In order to successfully reach the target demographic of UK and Ireland families with children of school age, tailored brand artwork and copy was used to promote the offers ahead of various UK and Ireland school holidays.
Reach was also amplified by promoting the offer with banner ads across a number of key audience websites such as the travel pages of the Express, Metro Online, and the Guardian.
